There have been changes to the skill assessment requirements for Automotive trades. These changes affect 482 Skill Assessments for Mechanics, Diesel Mechanic, Panel Beaters and Auto Electricians. From 1 April 2023, qualified applicants with a relevant qualification, from the nominated countries of passport listed below, are able to choose between the Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) (offered in-house by Trades Recognition Australia) or an Offshore Skills Assessment by a TRA approved RTO.
