Partner Visa Options

A basic overview of the partner visa options for migration to Australia. How to choose the right visa for your situation based on your relationship status and your location at time of application.   We consider the 300 Prospective Marriage Visa, 820 Partner visa and 309 Partner visa.  Speak to our visa specialist and  Migration Agent in PerthBrisbane or  Sydney  to discuss your application.

The 300 Prospective Marriage Visa is suitable for those outside Australia and wish to marry their sponsor in the near future.  820 Partner Visa is for applicants inside Australia and either are married, have lived together for 12 months, have registered their relationship or qualify for compassionate and compelling circumstances.  309 Partner Visa is for applicants who are currently outside Australia and either are married, have lived together for 12 months, have registered their relationship or qualify for compassionate and compelling circumstances.

With the application fee currently over $7000, it is more important and ever to apply for the right Partner Visa.   Application fees are rarely refund by the Department of Home Affairs and a simple mistake can be heartbreaking both financially and emotionally.    If you apply onshore and receive a refusal, you cannot lodge another onshore Partner Visa application.    We urge you to get the first step right.  Please consider paying for an initial visa assessment with our migration agent to discuss your Partner visa plans.
